Today the WCSD Drug Enforcement Unit and road patrol deputies intercepted a suspect trafficking Cocaine from Huntington to the Kermit – Crum, W.Va. area.
The 2 month investigation by the DEU came to an end with the arrest of Ricky Stumbo. Ricky was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine, Obstructing, and Driving while suspended revoked for DUI 2nd offense.
Approximately 10 grams of Cocaine was seized. Sheriff Thompson says this is the second bust in 3 days where tips forwarded to the Drug Enforcement Unit resulted in arrests.
This is not Stumbo’s first problem with the law as he has been convicted and/or pled guilty to drug charges in the past.
