INEZ, Ky. — A Martin County man was severely injured in an ATV accident Saturday, the 12th of May.

Larry NicholsLarry Nichols of Turkey Creek in Inez was on a Side by Side Polaris vehicle when he lost control and crashed causing him to be ejected.

A family member was able to administer CPR until paramedics arrived.

He was airlifted to Pikeville Medical Center where he remains on life support 9 days later. He sustained broken bones in his back, neck, arm and face.

He was in a coma for several days but is now alert although he is still on a ventilator and unable to breathe on his own as of today, Monday 5/21/18.

His children and family members have been by his side every day and he truly is a living miracle thanks to all of the prayers by many many friends and family.
