Allen Westley Elliott, “Poppie”, 73, of Verona, KY went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at his home.
Allen was born July 30, 1949 in Rochester, NY to the late George and Delphine (Jones) Elliott. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Russell Elliott.
Survivors include his wife Fonnie Elliott; children Valerie Domaschko, Allen Elliott, Jr., and Gregory Elliott; grandchildren Matthew (Terra) Domaschko, Jordan (Rachel) Domaschko, and Myali Domaschko; great granddaughter Elizabeth Reidmiller; brother Paul Tamblin; sister Jenny WIlliams and a special sister Beth VanWinkle; many nieces and nephews including special nieces Sydney and Courtney; and special friend Cameron Fisher.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dave Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the Maynard Cemetery in Fallsburg.
Friends may visit the family on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 11:00 AM until time of service in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
