Addiction Recovery Care Invites Public to Louisa For a Free Narcan Training

Addiction Recovery Care (ARC) will hold a training on Narcan basics and administration across from the old courthouse at the ARC Training Center in Louisa KY at 125 South Main Cross St. on Saturday, June 8th, starting at 1:00 PM.

First responders in Lawrence and Martin County KY report that there has been a recent influx of heroin overdoses. Narcan is a medication, that when administered, can save the life of an individual experiencing an opiate overdose. ARC invites you to stop by this free training to find out how you can help and maybe even save a life, giving a person a chance at finding treatment. This training is just one way of many to be part of the solution in this epidemic, and to help restore our community through hope and healing. Everyone is encouraged and welcome to attend.

The training is entirely free, and we hope to see you there. Participants will be trained, educated, and also receive a Narcan kit to take with them when they leave. See you there!
