Addiction Recovery Care is hosting a Free Narcan Training

Addiction Recovery Care is hosting a Free Narcan Training this Saturday in Louisa. As I plan this training and speak with first responders in the Lawrence/Martin area, they inform me that there has been a spike in heroine use/overdoses in the area recently. Narcan is a life saving drug for someone who is in opiate overdose. Recovery is growing strong in Louisa and surrounding areas, Narcan gives these people a chance to recover from addiction. If you are in the Louisa area this Saturday, stop by to this free training to find out how you can help with this epidemic and make your community a better place to live. Everyone is encouraged and welcome to attend.
