Addiction Recovery Care continues to ensure vital treatment access amid industry-wide challenges

LOUISA, Ky. (Oct. 16, 2024) — Addiction Recovery Care (ARC) is reassuring Kentuckians of its unwavering commitment to ensuring access to vital treatment resources amid consequential industry-wide challenges.

This week, ARC announced the temporary closure of four facilities in Kentucky — Sanibel in Catlettsburg, Lake Hills Oasis in Somerset, Beth’s Blessing in Tyner, and Belle Grove Springs in Wallingford — due to impending and significant cuts to Medicaid reimbursements affecting addiction and mental health services.

“These decisions were not made lightly, and we are dedicated to supporting our team members and communities affected by these changes,” said Vanessa Keeton, ARC Vice President of Marketing. “Above all, the safety and care of our clients remains our top priority. We are still available 24/7/365 for patients and families in need.”

Addiction treatment and mental health providers statewide will be affected by the impending industry-wide reimbursement cuts.

“We want to assure the public that our commitment to providing seamless continuity of much-need treatment services remains unwavering,” added Keeton. “ARC will continue to serve Kentucky with the same level of award-winning care and dedication as we help thousands of individuals each year find hope and healing.”
