Hey Adam, tell us a little about yourself. I’m not familiar with your name. Thanks and good luck on The Voice!
I’m a Lawrence County Kentucky native raised along the country music highway US 23 among such artists as Ricky Skaggs, American Idol winner for 2022 Noah Thompson, Larry Cordle and Tyler Childers, just to name a few. Either way you turn onto the country music highway from my hometown of Louisa, you run into sacred ground for music and artistry. 30 minutes north you have The Judds and Billy Ray Cyrus and lhead south to the birthlands of Chris Stapleton Loretta Lynn, Dwight Yokum and Crystal Gayle.
I grew up with the folklore of some of these major stars just somehow out of reach as each of them were transported into the Nashville scene and for the most part left the US 23 memories behind. I am determined to bring the music back to the country music highway with an eclectic blend of americana, rock, folk, classic rock and a bit of grunge. My material has spiritual overtones and real life lived lyrics for the listener to make up their own conclusions on meaning and intent. I am quickly being booked throughout the Tri-State area of KY/OH/WV and looking forward to dropping my debut album Adam Lee and The Chameleons – Kokopeli’s Return this October with a wide array of talented local special guests.
