Glenda Runyon, 83, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at her home.

Glenda was born September 25, 1938 to the late Tom Kirk, Sr. and Virginia Coleman Kirk Blevins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur B. Runyon; son Mark David Runyon; brother Royce Laurel Kirk; and sister Brenda Carol Short.

Glenda attended Smith Chapel Church. She enjoyed playing piano and singing in church. While at home, she spent her time crocheting.

Survivors include her children Arthur Laurel “Larry” Runyon, Karen Michelle Prince, John Richard Runyon, and Shannon Maria Elkins; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers John Walton Kirk and Tom Milton Kirk, Jr.; and sister Donna Elaine Horn.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Preacher John Horn officiating. Burial will follow in the Warfield Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 11:00 AM until time of service at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Runyon and her family.
