The youngsters swept Boyd Co. in a doubleheader to claim the state title.
In the first game it was Lawrence Co. winning 18-10 and in the second game the final score was 16-13.

COACH’S COMMENTS
“… The adrenaline and excitement is starting to wear off but I’ll think about this day for a long time to come. I want to thank all the parents to these boys for letting coach them. We grinded it out for over month. Practices multiple times a week. We got better everyday. Thank you to the guys that helped everyday at practice and game day, Kenny Muncy, Jeremy Block, Ricky Osborn, Caleb Bentley, and Jamie Adams. We couldn’t have pulled it off if it wasn’t for your help. Another big thanks to one of best friends Dustin Kingsmore he came in the clutch and did our announcing. The boys loved that.”
