Ronald “Bud “ Kimberlin, Sr. went to be with his Lord and Savior on June30, 2022 at his home in Prichard, WV.
Bud was born on March 16, 1960 in Lawrence County, KY, the son of Quinn Stanley and Emily Faye Workman. He was preceded in death by both parents and one sister, Mary Alice Payett.
Bud retired as head maintenance for Penn Coal after 13 years. Bud loved his church where he was a faithful member and deacon, Docks Creek Community Church in Kenova, WV. He loved spending time with his loving wife, of 38 years his children and grandchildren. He spoiled his grandchildren as much as possible.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Linda Sue Kimberlin and four sons, Ronald (Jennifer) Kimberlin, Jr, Jacob (Caitlyn) Kimberlin, Jason (Keisha) Kimberlin and Randy Kimberlin, all of Prichard, WV and one daughter, Jessica (Frankie) Rutan of Fort Gay, WV. Bud had four grandsons, Jason, Andy, Jacob Kimberlin and CJ Rutan and 3 granddaughters, Emily and Eliza Kimberlin and Nikkia Rutan. Bud had 2 unborn grandchildren he will never get to hold and spoil. Douglas Ison was a very special friend Bud has left behind. He is survived by 6 sisters, Betty Watts of Wooster, OH, Janet Coffee of Cannonsburg, KY, Heidi Bailey, Glenna Blanton, Dorothy Smith, all of Kenova WV and Lucille Parsons of Wayne WV.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on July 7, 2022 at Docks Creek Community Church. Services will be officiated by Rev. Douglas Ison and Gene Adkins. Burial will follow in Docks Creek Cemetery. Pall Bearers will be Ron Kimberlin, Jr., Jason Kimberlin, Jake Kimberlin, Randy Kimberlin, Kyle Carter, and Frankie Routan. Honorary Pall Bearer is Doug Ison.
Friends may visit the family after 6:00 PM on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 until time of service at Docks Creek Community Church.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Young Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Kimberlin and his family.
