Grayson, Ky. — Lawrence Co. tennis players Kennedy Gauze and Chase Kendrick won the Heart of the Parks tennis tournament this past weekend.
Heart of the Parks Tennis tournament is an annual event that has been going for over 30 years in Grayson and is a well respected tournament in Kentucky.
Lawrence Co. tennis was well represented winning 16U singles, Women’s singles and Mixed doubles in 2022.
Soon to be 8th Grader Chase Kendrick won the 16U singles title by going undefeated.
Soon to be Junior Kennedy Gauze won the women’s singles championship over Anna White from Russell.
Kendrick and Gauze won the Mixed doubles tournament as well.
LCHS lands five on All-Area team.
