OUT OF THOSE 117 ARRESTS, 25 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY.
SEPARATELY, FOUR (4) LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN OTHER KENTUCKY COUNTIES JURISDICTION (TWO (2)) IN MARTIN COUNTY; WHILE ONE TWO OTHERS, (1) WAS ARRESTED IN BOYD COUNTY, AND ONE (1) IN GREENUP COUNTY, WERE ARRESTED ON WANTED CHARGES VIA LAWRENCE COUNTY WARRANTS, AND WERE EVENTUALLY BROUGHT BACK TO BE PLACED IN THE BSRDC IN JOHNSON COUNTY).
PREVIOUSLY, FROM 12:00 A.M., APRIL 30, 2022, THRU TO 11:59 P.M., MAY 12, 2022, (13 DAYS); AT LEAST 78 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED FROM JOHNSON, LAWRENCE, MAGOFFIN, & MARTIN COUNTIES COMBINED, AND WERE BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE, KY., IN JOHNSON COUNTY, OUT OF THOSE 78 ARRESTS, 21 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY. SEPARATELY, THREE (3) LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN OTHER KENTUCKY COUNTIES JURISDICTION (TWO (2) IN CARTER COUNTY,& ONE (1)) IN MARTIN COUNTY).

Corbie A. Fyffe, 59, of Blaine,Kentucky; was arrested in Boyd County,KY.,by deputy Ballard,of the Boyd County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (HEROIN),•FAILURE TO APPEAR. Both charges were from court bench warrants out of Lawrence County Circuit Court.
Corbie Fyffe was later upon afterwards transported from the Boyd County Detention Center in Catlettsburg, KY., and taken to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, in Johnson County, KY., on May 13, 2022, at 12:42 P.M.
Ronnie L, Booth, 43, of Ulysses, Kentucky; was arrested on May 13, 2022, at 2:06 P.M., by deputy Joseph Osborne, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL), • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (DRUG UNSPECIFIED), • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS, • PRESCRIPTION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE NOT PROPER CONTAINER 1ST OFFENSE.
Jacob Allen Cordle, 18, of Blaine, Kentucky; was arrested on May 14, 2022, at 12:42 P.M., by deputy Joseph Osborne, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY.

Jasper Davis, 60, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on May 16, 2022, at 2:20 P.M., by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police, & was charged with: • FUGITIVE FROM ANOTHER STATE – WARRANT REQUIRED (2 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS). The Fugitive Warrants for Jasper Davis were from out of Cooper County, Missouri.
