CRUM AND NELSON MAKE 15TH REGION SOFTBALL ALL TOURNAMENT TEAM AND FELTNER WILL PLAY IN THE EAST/WEST ALL-STAR SOFTBALL GAME LATER THIS MONTH

Belfry, Ky. — Lawrence Co. softball players Dani Crum and Abby Nelson selected on 15th Region all tournament team and Kensley Feltner made the East/West Junior all star team.

 

Dani Crum and Abby Nelson make the 15th Region All Tournament team. 

 

Junior to be Dani Crum made the 15th region all tournament team. Dani had a good showing at Belfry and had a great season overall hitting .485 with 13 doubles, 7 triples, hit 6 home runs, drove in 42, scored 45 times and was a perfect 28 for 28 on stolen bases. She will be a key cog in the Bulldog offense next season and can play multiple positions on defense.

 

 

 

Junior to be Abby Nelson also made the 15th region all tournament team. Abby played well in both games and had a good season as well. She hit .327 with 9 doubles and 3 triples, drove in 25 runs and scored 25 as well. Nelson was good defensively and will be another strong player coming back for the Bulldogs next season.

 

Senior to be Kensley Feltner

 

Senior to be Kensley Feltner has been invited to play in the 2022 KSCA East/West game at South Warren High school in Bowling Green on June 17-19. She had a great season for the Dawgs hitting .427 with 11 doubles, 1 triple, smacked 6 homers, drove in 40 runs, scored 45 times and stole 17 bases. One of only three upperclassman she will be counted on once again to lead the Dawgs on the diamond next year.
