Sheriff Rick Thompson stated that two drug suspects were arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit during a traffic stop in Wayne.
Sheriff Thompson stated that Joshua Rose and Erica Ross were arrested after a distribution quantity of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Xanax were found to be concealed in Erica’s bra. Methamphetamine and Xanax were found in a container in Joshua’s under wear.
Each is charged with Possession of Fentanyl, Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Deliver Xanax, Pseudoephedrine Altered, Conspiracy to Distribute Heroin, and Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine.
The Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit has received tips that the suspects were distributing controlled substances. Sheriff Thompson urges citizens to report Drug activity to the Drug Enforcement Unit at 304-272-5016.
