Wilma Ruth Branham, 84, of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at her home.

Wilma was born June 16, 1937 in Fort Gay, WV to the late Virgil and Adreene (Billups) Robinette. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dan Branham; sister Blanche Branham; and brothers Lee “Pete” Robinette, John Cecil Robinette, and Don Robinette.

Wilma was a loving Christian mother and enjoyed visiting all the local churches. She was a talented piano player and was better than most professionals. Wilma loved to cook and bake, and her buckeyes were a special treat. She was a late bloomer to golf and still had two hole in ones to her name. As a retired cosmetologist, she loved to come to town and cut hair for all of her family members.

Survivors include her children Dan William (Penny) Branham and Perry D. Branham; grandchildren Lori Branham, Robbie Branham, Amy Fernandez, and Barbie Branham; great grandchildren Danica Robinette and Cole Robinette; brother Joe Robinette; and many niece and nephews that she loved like her own children.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 6, 2022 at 12:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Wellman Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Branham and her family.
