Inez Fire Rescue

Inez Fire Rescue is currently on scene of a commercial structure fire located in the 1300 block of South Milo Road. Both travel lanes are currently blocked. Please avoid the area!!!

UPDATE: All units have cleared the scene and the roadway is now clear.

…At 6:46pm, Martin County 911 received the call of a commercial structure fire at the James Webb Music Shop on South Milo Road.

Firefighters arrived on scene to find fire venting from a second story window on the street side of the structure. Inez Fire Rescue arrived on scene in 10 minutes and had crews inside establishing an interior attack in less than 15 minutes from time of call to 911.

Inez Fire Rescue responded Squad 21, Engine 22, Tanker 21, and Support 21, along with 17 personnel. There were no injuries to report and firefighters were able to assist property owners in salvaging contents from inside the store with minor to moderate damage.
