LAWRENCE COUNTY GJ ISSUES INDICTMENTS ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 9

Lawrence County issued indictments on Thursday, December 9, 2021.  Charges ranged from bail jumping, to trafficking of drugs and stalking.

Little J. Cantrell committed the offense of stalking in the first degree by intentionally stalking Renee Cantrell, by making explicit or implicit threats with the intent of placing that person in fear of serious injury or death.

Commonwealth vs. James Neil Sisco

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before September 6, 2021 in Lawrence Co, Ky the above named defendant:

 

  1. James Neil Sisco committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, Heroin, $248.00 in cash, with the intent to traffic in Heroin.
  2. James Neil Sisco committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, Methamphetamine, and $248.00 in cash, with the intent to traffic in Methamphetamine.
  3. That the defendant having been charged in the instant indictment is now being charged as a persistent felony offender in the first degree.
  4. James Neil Sisco committed the offense of receiving stolen property under $1000.00 by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a 2010 Ford Ranger pick up truck stolen from Jesse Frye out of East Lynn, WV.
  5. James Neil Sisco committed the offense of possession/use of drug paraphernalia by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a bag containing syringes and baggies.

 

Commonwealth vs. John Childers

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before November 24, 2021 in Lawrence Co, Ky the above named defendant:

 

  1. John Childers committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, Methamphetamine.
  2. John Childers committed the offense of possession of drug paraphernalia by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of glass pipes containing chemical residue.

 

Commonwealth vs. Little J. Cantrell

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before August 23, 2021 in Lawrence Co, Ky the above named defendant:

 

  1. Little J. Cantrell committed the offense of stalking in the first degree by intentionally stalking Renee Cantrell, by making explicit or implicit threats with the intent of placing that person in fear of serious injury or death.
  2. The above named defendant committed the offense of burglary in the second degree by knowingly and unlawfully entering the dwelling house of Renee Cantrell located on Cam Creek Rd in Martha, Ky.
  3. The above named defendant committed the offense of criminal mischief in the third degree by knowingly and unlawfully damaging property owned by Renee Cantrell.

 

Commonwealth vs. Jonathan Young

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before June 21, 2021 in Lawrence Co, Ky the above named defendant:

 

  1. Jonathan Young acting alone or in complicity with April Harper committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a scheduled I controlled substance, namely MDMA and a set of scales, with the intent to traffick in MDMA.
  2. Jonathan Young acting alone or in complicity with April Harper committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a scheduled I controlled substance, namely Psilocin/psilocybin  and a set of scales, with the intent to traffick in that substance.
  3. Jonathan Young acting alone or in complicity with April Harper committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, namely Methamphetamine and a set of scales with the intent to traffick in Methamphetamine.
  4. That the defendant having been charged in the instant indictment is now being charged as a persistent felony offender in the first degree.

 

Commonwealth vs. April Harper

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before June 21, 2021 in Lawrence Co, Ky the above named defendant:

 

  1. April Harper acting alone or in complicity with Jonathan Young committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a scheduled I controlled substance, namely MDMA and a set of scales, with the intent to traffick in MDMA.
  2. April Harper  acting alone or in complicity with Jonathan Young committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a scheduled I controlled substance, namely Psilocin/psilocybin  and a set of scales, with the intent to traffick in that substance.
  3. April Harper acting alone or in complicity with Jonathan Young committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, namely Methamphetamine and a set of scales with the intent to traffick in Methamphetamine.
  4. That the defendant having been charged in the instant indictment is now being charged as a persistent felony offender in the first degree.

 

Commonwealth vs. Brandon Fasnacht

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before July 13, 2021 in Lawrence Co, Ky the above named defendant:

 

  1. Brandon Fasnacht committed the offense of fleeing/evading the police in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully disregarding the order of Deputy Jeffrey Chase Kirk with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department to stop who was operating in his official capacity.
  2. The above named defendant committed the offense of operating a motor vehicle on suspended/revoked license by knowingly and unlawfully operating a motor vehicle while his license to operator said motor vehicle had been suspended or revoked.

 

Commonwealth vs. April Harper

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before July 15, 2021 in Lawrence Co, Ky the above named defendant:

 

  1. April Harper committed the offense of engaging in organized crime by knowingly and unlawfully committing or conspiring or attempting to commit, or acting as an accomplice in the commission of, the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree (Methamphetamine) on a continuing basis with four or more of the following individuals: Timothy Harper, Heather Savage, Jeffrey Harper, and James Kise.
  2. That the defendant having been charged in the instant indictment is now being charged as a persistent felony offense in the first degree.

 

Commonwealth vs. James Kise

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before July 15, 2021 in Lawrence Co, Ky the above named defendant:

 

  1. Jame Kise committed the offense of engaging in organized crime by knowingly and unlawfully committing or conspiring or attempting to commit, or acting as an accomplice in the commission of, the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree (Methamphetamine) on a continuing basis with four or more of the following individuals: Timothy Harper, Heather Savage, Jeffrey Harper, and April Harper.

The Grand Jury charges that on or before July 15, 2021 in Lawrence Co, Ky the above named defendant:

 

  1. Jeffrey Harper committed the offense of engaging in organized crime by knowingly and unlawfully committing or conspiring or attempting to commit, or acting as an accomplice in the commission of, the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree (Methamphetamine) on a continuing basis with four or more of the following individuals: Timothy Harper, Heather Savage, April Harper, and James Kise.

The Grand Jury charges that on or before July 15, 2021 in Lawrence Co, Ky the above named defendant:

 

  1. Timothy  Harper committed the offense of engaging in organized crime by knowingly and unlawfully committing or conspiring or attempting to commit, or acting as an accomplice in the commission of, the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree (Methamphetamine) on a continuing basis with four or more of the following individuals: April Harper, Heather Savage, Jeffrey Harper, and James Kise.

 

Commonwealth vs. Heather Savage 

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before July 15, 2021 in Lawrence Co, Ky the above named defendant:

 

  1. Heather Savage committed the offense of engaging in organized crime by knowingly and unlawfully committing or conspiring or attempting to commit, or acting as an accomplice in the commission of, the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree (Methamphetamine) on a continuing basis with four or more of the following individuals: Timothy Harper, April Harper , Jeffrey Harper, and James Kise.
  2. The defendant having been charged in the instant indictment is now being charged as a persistent felony offender in the first degree.

 

Commonwealth vs. April Harper

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before July 15, 2021 in Lawrence Co, Ky the above named defendant:

 

  1. April Harper committed the offense of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon by possession of a Smith and Wesson handgun after having been previously convicted of a felony.

 

Commonwealth vs. Carl Blair

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before September 9, 2021 in Lawrence Co, Ky the above named defendant:

 

  1. Carl Blair committed the offense of bail jumping in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully having been released from custody by the court, with or without bail, upon condition that he will subsequently appear at a specified time and place in connection with felony charge, he failed to appear at that time and place as ordered by the court.

 

Commonwealth vs. Robert Jackson 

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before September 18, 2021 in Lawrence Co, Ky the above named defendant:

 

  1. Robert Jackson committed the offense of bail jumping in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully having been released from custody by the court, with or without bail, upon condition that he will subsequently appear at a specified time and place in connection with felony charge, he failed to appear at that time and place as ordered by the court.

 

Commonwealth vs. James Moore

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before July 14, 2021 in Lawrence Co, Ky the above named defendant:

 

  1. James Moore committed the offense of bail jumping in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully having been released from custody by the court, with or without bail, upon condition that he will subsequently appear at a specified time and place in connection with felony charge, he failed to appear at that time and place as ordered by the court.
  2. James Moore has two more counts of bail jumping charge as listed above.

 

Commonwealth vs. Julie McKinster

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before July 14, 2021 in Lawrence Co, Ky the above named defendant:

 

  1. Julie McKinster committed the offense of bail jumping in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully having been released from custody by the court, with or without bail, upon condition that he will subsequently appear at a specified time and place in connection with felony charge, he failed to appear at that time and place as ordered by the court.
  2. Julie McKinster  has another count of bail jumping charges as listed above.
