FROM 6:00 P.M., NOVEMBER 11, 2021, THRU TO 11:59 P.M. NOVEMBER 22, 2021, (11 & 1/4 DAYS); AT LEAST 98 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED FROM JOHNSON, LAWRENCE, MAGOFFIN, AND MARTIN COUNTIES COMBINED, AND WERE BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION  CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE.
OUT OF THOSE 98 ARRESTS, 28 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY.
 
SEPARATELY, FOUR (4) LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN OTHER KENTUCKY COUNTY JURISDICTIONS ( 2 IN JOHNSON COUNTY, 1 IN PIKE COUNTY WHO WAS ARRESTED BY US MARSHALS, AND 1 IN BOYD COUNTY, WHO WAS BROUGHT BACK TO THE BSRDC IN PAINTSVILLE THE NEXT DAY).
 

PREVIOUSLY, FROM 12:00 A.M., NOVEMBER 1, 2021, THRU TO 6:00 P.M. NOVEMBER 11, 2021, (11 & 3/4 DAYS); AT LEAST 94 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED FROM JOHNSON, LAWRENCE, MAGOFFIN, AND MARTIN COUNTIES COMBINED, AND WERE BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION  CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE. OUT OF THOSE 94 ARRESTS, 26 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY. SEPARATELY, THREE (3) LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN OTHER KENTUCKY COUNTY JURISDICTIONS ( 3 IN MARTIN COUNTY).

 

HERE ARE THE LATEST TWENTY-EIGHT (28) ARRESTS IN LAWRENCE COUNTY, ALONG WITH THE THREE (4) LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS, ARE AS THE FOLLOWING:      

Tasha R. Williams, 31, of Flat Gap, Kentucky;was arrested on November 11,2021,at 6:24 P.M., by Sheriff Chuck Jackson, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).
Jackie L. Meadows, 48, of Louisa, Kentucky; was taken into custody on November 11, 2021, at 6:53 P.M., by deputy Joseph Osborne. of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence “weekender”: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.
Jamie M. McCoy, 36, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 11, 2021, at 8:00 P.M., by officer Everett Chase Kirk, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • BURGLARY, 3RD DEGREE.
Kyle M. Harless, 32, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 11, 2021, at 8:08 P.M., by officer Teddy B. Newsome, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • BURGLARY, 3RD DEGREE. • PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER 1.
Phillip A. Webb, 34, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 11, 2021, at 8:04 P.M.,by deputy Joseph Osborne, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with via a grand jury indictment: • POSSESSION OF HANDGUN BY CONVICTED FELON, • POSSESS MATTER PORTRAY SEXUAL PERFORMANCE BY MINOR UNDER/12, • DISTRIBUTION OF MATTER PORTRAYING SEXUAL PERFORMANCE BY MINOR, 1ST OFFENSE              
John Thomas Scott, 34, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 11, 2021, at 10:35 P.M.,by deputy Joseph Osborne, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 2ND DEGREE, • ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE), • FAILURE TO APPEAR (2 CHARGES COUNTS).
Vicky L. Slone, 54, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 12, 2021, at 12:45 A.M., by the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR.
Justin Matthew Ramsey, 37, of Louisa,Kentucky; was arrested on November 12, 2021, at 12:59 A.M., by officer Everett Chase Kirk, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR.
 
Alison F. Benitoa,  36, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 12, 2021, at 1:13 A.M., by officer Teddy B. Newsome, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR.
 
Jenine Perry, 34, of Louisa,Kentucky; was arrested on November 12,2021, at 1:23 A.M,. by deputy Joseph Osborne, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with via a grand jury indictment: • TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (< 10 D.U. DRUG UNSPECIFIED SCHEDULE 1 & 2).
Janet Clay, 59, of Louisa,Kentucky; was arrested on November 12,2021,at 12:16 P.M., by sergeant Steven Wilburn, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING, • PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).
Jeffery A. Webb, 59, of Louisa,Kentucky; was arrested on November 12,2021,at 8:16 P.M., by sergeant Steven Wilburn, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING AUTO $1,000 < $10,000, • CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, 1ST DEGREE.• FUGITIVE (WARRANT NOT REQUIRED).
 

Paul Wesley Tipton Jr., 33, of Sitka, Kentucky; was served on November 12, 2021, at 2:52 P.M.,by deputy Dwayne Bowen, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.
 
Paul Wesley Tipton Jr. was served the bench warrant at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in  Paintsville, KY., in Johnson County; where he has been lodged in the jail since August 26, 2021; after he was released from a hospital where he had been treated for multiple gunshot wounds, as a result of gunfire shootout exchange with law enforcement officers at the end of a police chase that started in Paintsville, in through Johnson County, and ended one mile inside in Lawrence County on August 18, 2021.
 

April Ann Harper, 37, of Louisa,Kentucky;was arrested on November 12,2021, at 7:10 P.M.,by deputy Joseph Osborne, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with via a grand jury indictment: • TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE.
 

Luke B. Schaeffer, 24, of Louisa,Kentucky; was arrested on November 15, 2021, at 2:45 P.M., by Sheriff Chuck Jackson, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with via a grand jury indictment: • WANTON ENDANGERMENT-1ST DEGREE, • CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2ND DEGREE.

Dolores J. Redwine, 57, of Louisa,Kentucky; was arrested on November 15, 2021, at 5:35 P.M., by chief deputy/sergeant Mason Keefer, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with via a grand jury indictment: • KIDNAPPING-MINOR, • CRIMINAL ABUSE 1ST DEGREE.

William C. Debord, 39, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 18, 2021, at 10:50 P.M., by patrolman officer Everett Chase Kirk, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATING LICENSE, • NO REGISTRATION PLATES, • NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT, • TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (> OR = 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE), • TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST OFFENSE (HEROIN), • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY//POSSESS, • FAILURE OF NON-OWNER OPERATOR TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE, • FAILURE TO OR USE OF IMPROPER SIGNAL.
 

Jonathon M. Young, 43, of Louisa,Kentucky; was arrested on November 19, 2021, at 12:02 A.M., by chief deputy/sergeant Mason Keefer, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:• FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 2ND DEGREE (ON FOOT), • TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (> OR = 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE),•TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST OFFENSE (HEROIN), • ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIME, • POSSESSION OF HANDGUN BY CONVICTED FELON; and via a grand jury indictment: • TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE.

Brittany Hammonds, 24, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 19, 2021, at 3:48 A.M., by patrolman officer Everett Chase Kirk, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIME.

Joseph McCoy, 24, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 19, 2021, at 3:54 A.M., by patrolman officer Everett Chase Kirk, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIME, • PROBATION VIOLATION (FOR FELONY OFFENSE)-[2 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS), • FAILURE TO APPEAR.
 

Kenneth O. Pack, 37, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 19, 2021, at 3:58 A.M., by patrolman officer Everett Chase Kirk, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIME.

John C. Thomas, 32, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 19,2021, at 4:02 A.M., by patrolman officer Everett Chase Kirk, of the Louisa Police Department, & was charged with: • ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIME.
 

Kevin M. Starr, 42, of Blaine, Kentucky; was arrested on November 19, 2021, at 9:20 P.M.,by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR.
 

Roseanna L White, 69, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 20, 2021, at 4:15 P.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, & was charged with: • THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING.

Larry E Dixon, 56, of Louisa,Kentucky; was arrested on November 21, 2021, at 8:20 P.M., by deputy Joseph Osborne, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, & was charged with: • TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 2ND OR > OFFENSE – < OR = 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE), • TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST OFFENSE (HEROIN).

Kelly Kasey Collins, 43, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 22, 2021, at 12:32 A.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:• OPERATING  MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (189A.010(1D) – 1ST OFFENSE, • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (HEROIN), • POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE  1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE), • RESISTING ARREST, • TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE. • PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER I.
 

Chelsey Allen, 25, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 22, 2021, at 1:02 P.M.,by Detective Hunter James,of the Louisa Police Department, & was charged with: • HARASSING COMMUNICATIONS, • ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (MINOR INJURY).
 
 

Whitney Spaulding, 25, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 22, 2021, at 1:27 P.M., by detective Hunter James of the Louisa Police Department, & was charged with: • ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (MINOR INJURY).

Dylan B. Simpkins, 23, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested in Johnson County, KY., on November 15, 2021, at 4:58 P.M., by the Johnson County Sheriff Department, & was charged with: • WANTON ENDANGERMENT-1ST DEGREE, • CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2ND DEGREE.
 

Austin C. Ross, 24, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested in Johnson County, KY., on November 15, 2021, at 5:05 P.M., by the Johnson County Sheriff Department, & was charged with: • WANTON ENDANGERMENT-1ST DEGREE, • CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2ND DEGREE.
 


Brandon L. Puckett, 30 of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested in Pike County, KY., on November 19, 2021, at 11:58 A.M., and was lodged in the Pike County Detention Center, in Pikeville, KY., & was charged with: • HOLD FOR U.S. MARSHALS KENTUCKY.
 

Bruce E. Fields Jr., 44, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested in Boyd County, KY., on November 19, 2021, at 7:21 A.M., by officer George (badge# 1615), of the Ashland Police Department, and was charged with: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER (2 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS), • FAILURE TO APPEAR, • PROBATION VIOLATION (FOR FELONY OFFENSE), • NON-PAYMENT OF COURT COSTS, FEES OR FINES. Bruce Fields Jr. was ordered by a judge for a “pay or stay” on a pair of fines of $1466 on the contempt charges; No bond allowed on the Probation Violation charge; and $1,000 full cash only on the Non-Payment charge.
 


Bruce E Fields Jr. was transferred from the Boyd County Detention Center in Catlettsburg, Ky., and was taken to and lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, KY., in Johnson County, on November 19, 2021, at 3:23 P.M., and was charged with: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER (2 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS), • WILLFUL REMOVE/DAMAGE BOUNDARY MARKER W/O FELON IN, • FAILURE TO APPEAR.

      You’re right. I used to feel bad for him. Hes a very intelligent guy…but idk man. I’ve walked the same path he is on and can say with certainty and from experience, there is an alternative. You just have to want it. He’s a burden on his family and society.
