Phyllis Pinson, 83, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 18, 2021.

Phyllis was born January 19, 1938 in Floyd County, KY to the late Anthony and Frona (Rowe) McKinney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Earl David Pinson.

Phyllis was a retired ICU nurse. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Louisa. Phyllis loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to garden, working puzzles and was an avid reader.

Survivors include her children David (Connie) Pinson, Abigail Pinson, Phillip Pinson, and Rebecca Pinson; grandchildren Tyler Pinson, Stephen Pinson, Olivia Boyd, Alexis Boyd, Ashley Bonamossa, Haley Janboe, Cody Pinson, Elizabeth Maynard, and Hope Mollett; great grandchildren Riley Pinson, Kayden Boggs, Addison Flannery, Emma Flannery, Ava Pinson, Henry Bonamossa, and Connor Jayce Caudill; and sisters Veloice Bartlett and Bernice Fitch.

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Greenlawn Cemetery with Pastor Charles Price officiating. The procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 AM.

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Pinson and her family.
