Martha Sue Meek, 75, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at her home.

Martha was born January 14, 1946 in Louisa, KY to the late Johnny Lee and Lillian (Sexton) Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dale Q. Meek; son Gregory Lee Arrington; mother of her grandchildren Lisa Arrington; sisters Mary “Charlotte” Thompson, Joyce Castle, Irene Crank, and Marie Bradley; and brothers Harold Taylor and Johnny B. Taylor.

Martha loved the Lord and was dedicated to serving him. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Louisa and a member of the Gideons.

Survivors include her son Bryan Meek; grandchildren Heather Rene Arrington, Jenifer Dawn (Robert) Harmon, and Christopher Lee Arrington; great granddaughter Nataleigh Dawn Harmon; brother Denver Taylor; daughter in law Tondra Arrington; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 25, 2021 at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Louisa with Brother Ric Frazier officiating.

Friends may visit the family on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 11:00 AM until time of service at First Baptist Church of Louisa.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form donations to Gideons International in Martha’s memory.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Meek and her family.
