    1. CONSENT AGENDA

Approve the Consent Agenda items:

      1. Per diem and expenses for board members in attendance
      2. Contracts & Services:
        1. Amendment Agreement to April 2021 Stericycle Shred-it Purge Service Agreement to take effect September 3, 2021
        2. Fallsburg Elementary School photography agreement with Betsy Lynn Photography for fall and spring school pictures for 21-22 school year
      3. Requests:
        1. Fundraisers: LCHS
        2. Out of State Trip Request: LCHS students to National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana; Melissa Blackburn; October 26 to October 30, 2021
        3. Use of Facilities by Eastern Elite Soccer: LCHS and FES for soccer practice; August 2021 to July 2022; Scott Johnson, insurance provided
        4. Request for permission LC Band Director Scott Smith to apply for the Walmart Local Community Grant for an equipment/instruments trailer; grant information provided 

 OTHER ACTION

    1. Discuss/Approve the extension of mask mandate for Lawrence County Schools
    2. Discuss/Approve participation in the vaccination incentive program offered by the Kentucky Department of Education ($100 per vaccinated full-time and part-time employee)
    1. Construction Agenda 
      1. LCHS Vocational Education Center (LAVEC) Renovation 

2.D.1.a. Approve to accept School Facilities Construction Commission (SFCC) Offer of Assistance for the renovation of Local Area Vocational Education Center in the amount of $9,280,350  

2.D.1.b. Approve draft BG-1 for Local Area Vocational Education Center Renovation & Expansion and submission to KDE Facilities for review and approval 

2.D.1.c. Approve the process KDE requires for hiring an architect

2.D.1.d. Approve the process KDE requires for hiring a construction manager 

      1. Softball Facilities Upgrade Project  

2.D.2.a. Approve draft BG-1 for Lawrence County High School Softball Field House & Upgrades and submission to KDE Facilities for review and approval 

2.D.2.b. Approve the hiring of RossTarrant Architects related to the high school’s softball building and ADA field access

2.D.2.c. Approve site survey proposal and direction to proceed forward

      1. Blaine and Fallsburg Wastewater Treatment Plants 

2.D.3.a. Approve estimate/quote for consulting/operation services from John Pearl Combs Wastewater Consulting/Operation Services for wastewater treatment plants and collection system at Blaine Elementary and Fallsburg Elementary

    1. Approve Shortened School Day Waiver requests for special needs students
  1. PERSONNEL
    1. Approve creation regarding position
    2. Approve to acknowledge receipt of Superintendent’s Personnel Action/Update
