RT. 23 ACCIDENT DETAILS RELEASED BY CITY POLICE

On August 3, 2021 at 0731 a.m. the Louisa Police and Fire Departments responded to the call of a two vehicle collision on US 23 at the crossover at Tractor Supply.

Investigation determined that Angela Jackson, 58 of Louisa was traveling southbound on US 23 when a vehicle owned by PECCO and driven by employee William Glaze, 33, of Covington, Ky. attempted to cross the highway towards Tractor Supply from PECCO. Mr. Glaze stated that he did not see the approaching vehicle as he entered the roadway causing him to proceed on into the travel path of Mrs. Jackson.

Jackson was treated on scene, but air lifted to Cabell Huntington Hospital. Investigation is being handled by Chief Greg Fugitt.
