Ms. Donna McDowell, 62, of Blaine, KY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 1, 2021.

Donna was born on January 13, 1959 in Columbus, OH to the late Franklin Delano and Arzie (Calhoun) Wellman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry McDowell and her granddaughter Elizabeth Riley.

Donna was a nurse and was loved by all her patients and co-workers.

Survivors include her children Jeremy (Tiffany) McDowell, Samantha (Zachary Cochran) McDowell, Shannon Riley, Larry (Kerri) McDowell, and Shannon (Angela) McDowell; fiance Beacher Hayden; grandchildren James Riley, Kelsey, Kylyn, Kolton, Raegan, Hannah, Addalynn, David, and Johnathan; siblings Jerry (Cheryl) Wellman, Carla (Guy) Preston, Connie Young, Lyndon Wellman and Mary Caudill; many nieces and nephews; and special friend Tammy Lafferty.

Funeral services will  be conducted Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kenneth Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Yatesville Memorial Gardens.

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with with the care of Mrs. McDowell and her family.
