Delmar Lee Fannin, 84, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.

Delmar was born May 11, 1937 in Carter County, KY to the late Felty and Versie (Sparks) Fannin. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Polly Thompson Fannin.

Delmar was a retired Coal Truck Driver. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his grandchildren.

Delmar is survived by his children Sandra Fannin, Brenda Fannin, Regina Stewart, Ginger Harrison, Billie Crum, and Alice Thompson; grandchildren Jason (Ashley) Bowen, Shane (Sasha) Bowen, Keisha (Brandon) Parsons, Dylan (Destinee) Ison, Dustin (Erin) Ison, Jenny Ison, Brandon Porter, Brittany Porter, Andrew Porter, Justin Porter, and Daniel Thompson; many great grandchildren and many brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Smith Chapel with Pastor Rick May officiating. Burial will follow in See Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Smith Chapel Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to help offset funeral expenses.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Fannin and his family.
