Robert Lee Melton, 58, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Pikeville Medical Center.

Robert was born September 27, 1962 in Madison, WI to Lane and Judy (Blocker) Melton.

Robert was employed as a crane operator. He loved his family and had a heart of gold. Robert would do anything in his ability to help others.

Robert is survived by his parents Lane and Judy Melton; companion Beverly Evans; brother Lane (Robin) Melton; daughters Jennifer (Mike) Zahner, Jackie (Jonathon) Kelly, and Catrina (Herbert) Moore; grandchildren Rylan, Brandon, Mason, Abby, Ashley, Ethan, Mike, Tyler, Wayne, Aubrey, Alayna, Destiny, Damien, Austin, Ryan, Tana, Tiffany, Stephanie, Allison, Adam, Taleigh, Emma, Alijah, and Liam: niece Krystal Constanza; nephew Lane Melton; and long time friends Phillip Chafin, Eddie Robertson, Paul, Joe Fields, Chris (Elizabeth) Skillman, Vickey (Kerry), and Frank Stepka.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Melton and his family.
