SHOELESS MAN HOLDS UP DRUG STORE BRANDISHING KNIFE

LOUISA — On April 27, 2021 at 1540 hours the Louisa Police Department was dispatched to an armed robbery at Walgreens.

Walgreens employees advised the  Lawrence County 911 Center that a white male with dark hair, white shorts and no shoes nor shirt had presented a knife, demanded various medications and then began fleeing the store not before defecating on himself.

Subject fled in an unknown direction in a 2002 purple/blue Nissan Xterra WV 7SL910 which is linked with a theft complaint in Wayne County WV.

Case remains under investigation by Detective Hunter James and Ptl. Teddy Newsome. LPD was assisted by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office. If you have any information please contact 606-638-4058 or hjames@louisapd.org or tnewsome@louisapd.org.

      The man literally only had on basketball shorts so what the hell are you going on about, that was the only thing to tell. And how would you know if his clothes were in the vehicle….he’s not been caught and wasn’t stopped so no one would know.
