PLAYER’S COMMENTS

“… First of all, I would like to thank God for all the blessings he has gave me and I’m sure there will be many more to come. I would like to thank Coach Anna, for giving me this wonderful opportunity and I am beyond excited to play for you. To my future teammates, I pray that we have great success as a team, and I am excited to start this journey with you. I would like to thank my many different teammates and coaches for all the time and effort they have put in helping me get where I am with basketball and shaping me into the person I am today. I want to thank my wonderful grandparents, for always helping and believing in me no matter what I have ever chose to do. Mom and Dad, thank you both for all you have done to get me where I am today, I could not be more thankful to have such a great set of parents. Coach Morrone, Coach Jude, Coach BoBo, Coach Ernie, and my girls, thank you all for trusting me as a player and person, you all have been a big part in the person I am today, and I am beyond grateful for you all. I would also like to thank Justin Prince and his broadcasting class for making this possible during a pandemic. Lastly, to everyone watching, thank you for your support today, it means the world to me.”

Tolsia Head Coach Ric Morrone

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… It is always great to see one of our players achieve their goal to play at the next level. Julie is a great example of when dedication and commitment to improvement come together with talent, the shy is the limit! She will be a great addition to the Lady Bears and we can’t wait to watch the next chapter unfold for Julie Boone. She is a great player and student, but an even better person.”

WV Tech Head Coach Ana Kowalska

COLLEGE COACH’S COMMENTS

“…We are extremely happy to have Julie on our team, when we recruit its not all about how many points you can score even though she can score a lot points. We recruit person first and player second, when we came and seen her and talked to her that was the first thing that I noticed was her character and what a good person she was. We need to have that on our team. I know her teammates know that because you can not win if you don’t have good people on your team.”
