On Tuesday, March 30, 2021, James B. Maynard, Sr., loving husband and father of four children passed away at age 85.

James was born in Martin County, KY, growing up near Warfield. James was a retired employee of Marrowbone Development Company.

James was preceded in death by parents, Meredith and Shirley Maynard, two sisters, Garnett Maynard and Mary Parsley, and one brother, Robert (Bob) Maynard.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline (Davis) Maynard, two sons, James B. Maynard, Jr. and Robert Darryl Maynard, two daughters, Shirley Maynard and Linda Maynard, one sister, Della Murphy, one brother, Larry Maynard, nine grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, April 2, 2021 at 3pm at Riverview Memorial Gardens, 10288 Highway 23, Louisa, KY, with Travis Marcum officiating. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
