David Parsons, 88, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 25, 2021.

David was born May 11, 1932 in Fort Gay, WV to the late Albert and Angie (Wilson) Parsons. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Vonda “Dot” Parsons and siblings Robert, Albert, Rose and Virginia.

David was a Veteran, having served in Korea. He retired from the Tri-State Transit Authority with over 40 years of service.

Survivors include his children David Parsons, Jr.,  Dale E. (Teresa) Parsons, Deborah (special son in law Fred) Jobe, Michael (Peggy) Parsons, Donald Ray Parsons, and Roger Lee (Liz) Parsons; grandchildren Kylan, Korbin, Kayden, Ashley Dawn, Brianna, Kasey, Elaina, Josh, Eva, and Samantha; several great grandchildren; and special friends Suzanne, John, and Mary McComas,  Mason and Dixon.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 28, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hamilton Cemetery in Fort Gay, WV.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Parsons and his family.
