Howard McClure Preston, 92, of Louisa, KY, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021.
Howard was born December 27, 1928 in Louisa. He is the son of the late Donald and Dereca McClure Preston. He is also preceded in death by his sister Evelyn Duvall, son William “Bill” M. Preston, infant daughter Sharon Ann Preston, and grandson Shawn Murphy.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years Alma Lee Murphy Preston, sister Marion Schrodel of Washington, children Richard Preston, Edward (Bonnie) Preston, and Rosemary (Terry) Bass; grandchildren Kristy (Shawn) Jakeway, Wendy Willis, Jessica (Tim) Toews, Megan Cyrus, Adam (Beth) Preston, Alex Preston, Bruce Preston, Karen Foster, granddaughter in law Michelle Murphy, seventeen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 29, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
