FLOOD Update 3/1/21 10:00 am
STREETS- All city streets are open. Lick Creek road is underwater. Avoid that area.
WATER- A mud slide took out a line causing FiveForks tank to be drained overnight. Damaged area has been repaired and we are supplying water to Five Forks tank now. Higher elevations ie; Cottonwood and Fullers ridge will come on line once the tank levels reach sufficient depth. BOIL WATER ADViSORY for Fallsburg Area customers served by Five Forks Tank until further notice.
SANITATION- Trash service will be on regular schedule.
SEWER- some pump stations have been affected by the 4+ inches of rainfall. Will update on those as the day progresses…
WARNINGS- avoid entering flood waters by foot or vehicles. Allow waters to recede before attempting cleanup.
