The KSP Aircraft Branch assisted AEP Crews and Linemen in remote areas of eastern Kentucky earlier today to locate downed power lines. We want to thank Three Rivers Medical Center for the use of their helipad, which expedited our efforts. Please take the opportunity to “Thank a Lineman” today if you have a chance!

With all my heart I do thank the hardworking power company workers, they are true hero’s although they hardly ever get the credit they deserve. They are a special breed, many are contracted, and others work for AEP/KP; you all have my respect. May God bless you as you work at a very dangerous job.

I haven’t seen no AEP out Fallsburg.

A big thank you to all the men and women that is working to get peoples electric and phone back on. I just hope and pray they get everyone’s electric on sooner than later. Hopefully people can get help with food. So many people have lost their food. My heart goes out to everyone. 🙏
