Louisa Police Department would like to congratulate some of their officers for their achievements in training and career goals.

Sgt. Steven Wilburn & Ptl. Greg Powers both received the awards of Intermediate & Advanced Law Enforcement Officer, while Chief Greg Fugitt received Advance law Enforcement Officer & Law Enforcement Supervisor.

The Career Development Program (CDP) began in January of 2003 and is administered by the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council. It is a voluntary program that recognizes officers as a law enforcement officer for meeting specific standards within training, education, and experience as they proceed forward in your career. Professional certificates are awarded to law enforcement officers in the career paths of patrol, investigations, traffic, advanced deputy, and management.

All Louisa Police Officers are working towards bettering themselves and reaching these certificates of achievements.
