A search warrant conducted on February 4, 2021 at a residence in Blaine resulted in the arrest of one person on trafficking and weapon charges.
Dave Michael Ferguson of Blaine was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance first degree, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, two counts of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine and heroin), possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with physical evidence.
This arrest is part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and distribution of illegal narcotics in rural parts of our county. The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Louisa Police Department for their assistance on this investigation.
The Drug Interdiction Cooperative Enforcement (D.I.C.E.) task force reminds every citizen to please report suspicious activity to local law enforcement or in case of an emergency always dial 911.
Can hardly wait to see how much stuff Jackson starts putting out that they are doing once this fall and next spring comes around with election time coming. He tried to start out like he was doing great things but from what most people have seen he fizzled out. Need someone in there for the right reason and that is to “work for the people” and not the “look at me”. Man did we get fooled last go around. Don’t see much out of any of the older deputies. Can’t even get them to respond to calls and Sheriff won’t do anything about it. SAD!

Oh please tell us what Chuckie has done that is so wonderful. Heck who after having as many years of experience he bragged about needs an ADVISOR to help him do his job. I don’t have any experience with that stuff but pretty sure could figure it out and do a better job so might just take your advise.
How was it trafficking if the search warrant was conducted at the home?
Seriously? Trafficking is trafficking regardless of where drugs are found. As long as drugs are being sold its trafficking.
Did you think a person would have to be arrested while in traffic for it to be considered trafficking? 😄
Most drug trafficking takes place out of a home.
