Airport employee charged with embezzling nearly $60,000

An employee of the Huntington Tri-State Airport has been charged with Felony Embezzlement after an investigation was conducted by the Huntington Tri-State Airport Police and Wayne County Sheriff’s Department.

Melissa Hall, of South Point, was an accountant for the Huntington Tri-State Airport. In the course of the investigation over $58,000 was found to have been embezzled. Nearly $10,000 was recovered during a traffic stop on Mrs. Hall’s vehicle on January 8th.
