Archie Perry, 85, of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at his home.
Archie was born October 20, 1935 in Wayne County, WV to the late Andy and Blanche (Sparks) Perry.
Archie was a veteran, having served his country in the Navy from 1954 to 1956 and then serving in the Air Force from 1956 to 1961. Archie was a member of Vinson Masonic Lodge #66 A.F.&A.M. and was a 33rd degree Mason in the Scottish Rite. Archie retired from Inco Alloys in Huntington, WV.
Archie was preceded in death by his loving wife Sally Ann (Wellman) Perry. Surviving are their children Darla (Doug) Napier, Andy (Bo) Hammond, Brooks (Jenny) Perry; grandchildren Carla (Jeremy) Maynard, Jay (Tiffany) Hammond, Charlie (Beanie) Perry, Bob (Jill) Perry, Joe (Jenn) Hammond, and Jennifer (Travis) Hounshell; great grandchildren McKenzie Hounshell, Emma Perry, Jaxson Hounshell, Hadley Perry, Chase Hammond, Easton Hounshell, Jace Maynard, Zoey Maynard, and Addison Hounshell; and siblings Frank (Jan) Perry, Alta McKinzie, Andarena (Jim) Noe, Mary Jo Damron, and Karen (Dallas) Borders.
Funeral services for Archie will be private.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Perry and his family.
