Steven “Steve” Craig Moore, 63, died Tuesday, September 1, 2020, after a long illness.

Steve was the son of the late Vinson “Dee” Moore and Adrienne Wright Moore Lewis. He was born and raised in Louisa, KY, and lived in Myrtle Beach for more than three decades. He was a graduate of Louisa High School and owned a landscaping business with his father before he retired.

Steve was a friend to everyone he met and was always up for some fun. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren, ride his motorcycle, and watch the tides change in the marsh. He enjoyed making Christmas morning magic, and taught his daughters to slow down and appreciate the beauty in both hugs and nature. He built a wooden boat with his grandson, Jacob; always treated his grandson, Mark, to supersizes; and was the first person to take his granddaughters to the arcade and the amusement park.

Survivors include his mother, Adrienne, of Louisa, KY; and two daughters, April (Paul) of Sterling, VA, and Christina (Chad) of Little River, two granddaughters Grace and Ann, and three grandsons Jacob, Mark, and Silas. He is also survived by his brother Vinson (Deborah), nieces Dustin Moore of Greenville, SC, and Madison Moore of San Diego, CA, and a nephew, Taylor Moore, of Warsaw, Poland.

The family will hold a private service.

Memorials may be made to All4Paws Animal Rescue.

Cremation Service Direct, LLC (843-651-1194) of Myrtle Beach is assisting the family with arrangements.
