INVITATION TO BID
The Lawrence Co. Board of Education will receive bids in the Office of the Superintendent at the Board of Education Building, 50 Bulldog Lane, Louisa, KY 41230 for 5 surplus buses: Bus# 944 – 1994 model (scrap only), Bus# 972 – 1997 model (scrap only), Bus# 934 – 1993 model (runs but missing all passenger seats), Bus#023 – 2002 model (runs but cannot drive), and Bus# 043 – 2004 model (scrap only). The bids shall be sealed and properly marked. Bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2020. All bids properly submitted will be opened at this time at the Lawrence County Board of Education. Further information may be obtained from the Office of the Superintendent or by calling 606-638-9671. The Lawrence County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid that may be deemed to be in the Board’s favor.
I’m interested in finding out more about bus# 943 – 1993 model ( runs but missing all passenger seats . ) How rusted up is the bus ? Do you have any pictures of the inside and outside of the bus ? Does it leak when it rains ? Do you deliver upon purchase in the local Louisa area ? What is the lowest bid accepted ? I offer in the dark not knowing any details on the bus $500.00/ five hundred dollars , but I am not buying junk and would like to know more about the condition of the interior and exterior and tires and windows .? No one really wants to buy a pig in a poke , if you know what I mean ? 😆😆 I don’t want to waste money on something I can’t use and don’t need no more junk in the yard . I’m currently homeless and could convert into a home if it’s not rusted or leaking . I’m interested in looking at pictures before trying to purchase with a bid . I would rather look at it in person but would have to make arrangements to do so .
