Lawrence County is getting geared up for drive thru ‘Readifests’ and ‘Meet the Teacher’ by appointment only.
- Louisa East Elementary School will host a drive thru Readifest
- August 19 with 2nd and 3rd grade from 10:00-12:00, then 4th and 5th grade from 12:30-2:00.
- They also will host Meet the Teacher starting August 20 with 5th grade, August 21 with 4th grade, August 24 with 3rd grade and August 25 with 2nd grade and the teachers will start calling parents next week.
- Louisa West Elementary School’s Readifest will be in the loop line on
- August 18, Tuesday with Pre-K from 10:00-11:00, Kindergarten from 11:00-12:30, and 1st from 12:30-2:00.
- Both Louisa East and Louisa West Schools will have free haircuts to the Haven for the first 100 at each school. There will be free school supplies and a raffle with 5 free Chromebooks.

- LCHS will host a drive-thru distribution for Chromebooks, schedules, and textbooks. At this time students/parents will need to complete the TrueForm, FRAM and Health forms.
LCHS Chromebook/schedule/textbook distribution:
- August 20th 11th and 12th grade 12:00pm-5:00pm
- August 24th 9th and 10th grade 12:00pm-5:00pm
All fees will be applied to accounts after paperwork has been processed.
NOTE: It is all happening at the same time. Students will be access schedules on line through Infinite Campus.

- Fallsburg Elementary School will host a drive thru Meet the teacher and Readifest on
- August 24 with grades 1st-4th 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00. 1st and 2nd grades will use FRYSC door and 3rd and 4th will use bus door.
- August 25 for 5th-8th grades from 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00, 5th grade will use FRYSC door and 6th-8th grades will us bus door.
- Teachers will contact parents on August 19th and 20th to schedule arrival times.
- Kindergarten will be August 24 by appointment only from 9:00-4:00 with only one parent and one child permitted to attend.
- Newly enrolled students and those unavailable for the duration of the event will need to schedule an appointment with the office.
