Kentucky State Police are investigating a death on Roanne Road just outside of Salyersville. The victim was found in a driveway and appeared to have been shot.
Upon Troopers arrival the victim Jerold Arnett (78 YOA from Salyersville KY) was located and then pronounced deceased by Magoffin County Deputy Coroner Brian Parker. An autopsy was preformed and the results are pending.
No arrests have been made at this time, Detectives on the case are processing evidence and taking statements from several persons who may be connected or have information on the case.
This case is led by Detective Newsome, further details will be released when they become available.
