All three incumbent Lawrence County BOE members registered for another four year term as registration ended for the November election which will feature the president’s race.
Long time board member Jim See was the first person to register snd Board chairman Heath President and Member Barbara Robinson also signed up during the first week. Robinson has a challenger in Angela (Holmes) Wright in District 5.
Lawrence Clerk Chris Jobe also reported that all six current Louisa City Council members, plus one new candidate, have signed up to run. James Allen Pauley- Barker will run for a seat on the council.
This will be the local lineup in November as the last day to register was June 2, County Clerk Chris Jobe said.
