HERE ARE THE NAMES & CHARGES OF THE LATEST 11 PEOPLE (10 OFFENDERS, 1 “WEEKENDER”) ARRESTED AND TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN MARTIN COUNTY OR ANY MARTIN COUNTY CITIZENS ARRESTED BY A POLICE AGENCY IN NEIGHBORING JURISDICTIONS:

Kayla Bowen, 30, of Pikeville, Kentucky; was arrested on March 18, 2020,at 11:06 A.M., by a deputy of the Martin County Sheriff Department,& was charged with:

• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).

Bobby J. Farmer, 27, of Lovely, Kentucky; was arrested on March 18, 2020, at 4:45 P.M., by Sheriff John H. Kirk, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).

Amanda R. Mills, 36, of Lovely, Kentucky; was arrested on March 18, 2020, at 6:28 P.M., by deputy William Tyler Lafferty, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING TWO BENCH WARRANTS FOR COURT.

Michael S. Maynard, 45, of Ashland, Kentucky; was transported to and lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, on March 20 ,2020, at 7:01 P.M.after he was originally arrested in Boyd County, on February 18, 2020, at 8:21 A.M. ,by officer Jon McCormick, of the Ashland Police Department, and was charged with:

• PROBATION VIOLATION (FOR FELONY OFFENSE),

• FAILURE TO APPEAR (2 SEPARATE CHARGE COUNTS),

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 3RD OR > OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE)

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 3RD DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED.

Michael Maynard was brought to the BSRDC in Paintsville in Johnson County, on the two FAILURE TO APPEAR warrant charges, which were from out of Martin County.

Vada M. Maynard, 36, of Warfield, Kentucky; was arrested on March 21, 2020, at 3:24 A.M., by a deputy of the Martin County Sheriff Department,& was charged with:

• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).

Shannon Ray Justice, 27, of Lovely, Kentucky; was arrested on March 21, 2020, at 10:46 P.M., by trooper Ryan Hale,of the Kentucky State Police, Post 9-Pikeville, and was charged with:

• RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY (FIREARM).

Vince N. Allen, 40, of South Williamson, Kentucky; was arrested on March 23, 2020, at 8:23 P.M., by Constable Brad Preece, of the Martin County Constable Office-District 4, and was charged with:

• OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE,

• THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING $500 OR MORE BUT UNDER/$10,000.

Tammy R. Allen, 42, of South Williamson, Kentucky; was arrested on March 23, 2020, at 8:32 P.M., by Constable Brad Preece, of the Martin County Constable Office-District 4, and was charged with:

• THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING $500 OR MORE BUT UNDER/$10,000.

Matthew S. Daniels, 29, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on March 23, 2020, at 10:52 P.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department,& was charged with:

• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).

Taylor Mills Jr., 38, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on March 24, 2020, at 5:30 P.M., by deputy William Tyler Lafferty, of the Martin County Sheriff Department,& was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT,

• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (< 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE),

• POSSESSION OF HANDGUN BY CONVICTED FELON,

• PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER II,

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

Tommy D. Evans, 42, of Louisa, Kentucky; was taken into custody on March 19, 2020, at 1:13 P.M., by the Martin County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence “weekender”:

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.
