LOUISA FIRST BAPTIST, MANY OTHER CHURCHES PLAN TO HOLD SERVICES DESPITE GOVERNOR’S WARNING

‎Chuck Price‎ to First Baptist Church of Louisa:

Well – I have never seen anything like this before. We probably have all said that in the last few days.

This is truly March madness. We try to never cancel church at First Baptist Church. This has been the identity and practice of First Baptist Church of Louisa throughout its existence.

But we do not want to just go ahead without taking some very important precautions. Taking precautions is just the smart and godly thing to do.

We will not have fellowship time, as we have done for some time now. Dana and Mike have sanitized everything that does not move too quickly, we have hand sanitizer, and a limited supply of toilet paper, and we will have extra chairs placed so we can maintain a safe personal space.

If you are sick, stay home, and since our elderly are most vulnerable, exercise caution and follow

doctors’ orders.

All services will be streamed on Facebook Live and broadcast on FM frequency 95.9 and can be picked up within a three-mile radius of the church. We look forward to taking God’s hand in ministry opportunities in this difficult time. We will keep our congregation and the public informed as circumstances develop.
