Lady Rebels end regular season with victory over Poca, Postseason plays begins Saturday

Poca, W. Va. — The Lady Rebels of Tolsia ( 12-10 ) closed out the regular season with a 56-33 victory over Poca on the road earlier this week.

Kerigan Salmons led the Lady Rebels with 14 points including 4 three pointers, Julie Boone had 13 points and 9 rebounds, Autumn Block finished with 11 points, Katie Marcum 8 points, Kylea Pollinger 4 points, Trinity Muncy 3 points, Jace Litton 2 points, Selena Browning 1 point and 6 assists.
The Lady Rebels hit 5 three pointers and went 7 of 14 from the charity stripe.

Region 4 Section 2 Bracket 
Tolsia will open up postseason play as the #3 seed in the loaded Region 4 Section 2 Tournament on Saturday vs #6 Sherman at Hurricane High School.
#2 Tug Valley will play #7 Hannan at 4:00, #4 Van will play #5 Buffalo at 12:00.
#1 Huntington St. Joe received a first round bye and will play at 5:30 Tuesday against the Van/Buffalo winner.

COACH’S COMMENT
“… One of the toughest sections and regions in the state in Class A. Huntington St. Joe is #1 in the state and in our section, Tug Valley is ranked in the top ten is in our section, Parkersburg Catholic is ranked #2 and undefeated is in our region. Van, Buffalo and Sherman all have winning records is also in our section. Every game in postseason play will be a challenge beginning Saturday against Sherman.”
