In the third period it was much of the same as the pace was break neck with Buffalo hitting another buzzer beater to take a four point lead 52-48 heading to the final stanza.

In the fourth Tolsia would find its groove with some timely steals which led to easy buckets and closed out the comeback victory at foul line making 6-8 and scoring 28 points in the period.

Tolsia Head Coach Todd Maynard

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Great Section win for us after losing a close one up at Buffalo, We only hit 2 three pointers and still scored 76 points which is odd for us but it shows that we can win and not have to depend on the three point shot.”

“… Steven Ward played well off of the bench for us, I challenged him at halftime and responded with a couple big shots and on the defensive end as well. He has a ton of talent and is still evolving as a player. Proud of Zack Ball for gutting it out with a bum ankle. Ward and Ball helped out on Alec Hanshaw and held him to four points in the fourth quarter. Hanshaw has killed us both times this year.”!
