LMS Head Coach Wade Skaggs

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… On Friday we battled for 4 quarters back and forth with a tough and physical Rockcastle Co. team and won 35-33. I was impressed with our composure late in the game with the environment that we were in.”

“… Saturday we played North Laurel and Farnsley Middle. In both games the kids really competed and gave ourselves a chance to win in both games. In the North Laurel game we fought through a lot of adversity and I’m not sure if our team in December could have handled their hot start. But, we fought our way back and had our chances. That game really showed the growth of our team from the beginning of the season until now.

“… Overall, it was a great experience for our kids. They made memories that will last a lifetime and were able to compete against some of the best middle school teams across the Bluegrass and prove to themselves that they belonged.”
