Dorothy Lou Austin, 88, of Louisa, KY went home to be with her Lord on Sunday December 28, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

Dorothy was born November 15, 1931 at Bluefield, WV the daughter of the late Everett and Mary Wimmer. In additions to her parents she is preceded in death by her son Lawrence Edward “Ed” Austin.

Dorothy was a homemaker and member of the Louisa First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband Rages Austin; a daughter Barbara Deem and husband John; four grandchildren Kim Chapman, Russell Austin, Ashley Merritt, and Tyler Deem; ten great grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law Joyce Austin.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 31st at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Princeton, WV at 3:30 pm Tuesday December 31st.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home.

Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
