HERE ARE THE NAMES & CHARGES OF THE LATEST 18 PEOPLE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN MARTIN COUNTY (17’OFFENDERS’, 1 “WEEKENDER”) OR ANY MARTIN COUNTY CITIZENS ARRESTED BY A
POLICE AGENCY IN NEIGHBORING JURISDICTIONS:

 

Terry M. Evans, 32, of Pilgrim,Kentucky; was arrested on November 30,2019, at 1:31 P.M.,by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police-Post 9-Pikeville, Ky.,and was charged with:

• SPEEDING 11 MPH OVER LIMIT,

•OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 2ND OFFENSE,

• FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS,

• IMPROPER REGISTRATION PLATE,

• NO REGISTRATION PLATES,

• NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT,

• FAILURE OF OWNER TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/ SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE,

• FAILURE TO REGISTER TRANSFER OF MOTOR VEHICLE,

• FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD.

George Chapman, 28, of Kermit, West Virginia; was arrested on November 30, 2019, at 11:59 P.M., by Sheriff John H. Kirk, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with on a Martin County District Court bench warrant:

• DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 1ST DEGREE,

• CRIMINAL TRESPASS-1ST DEGREE,

• ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE).

 

Johnny R. Jude, 38, of Warfield, Kentucky; was arrested on December 1, 2019, at 7:08 P.M., by Constable Brad Preece, of the Martin County Constable Office-District 4, and was charged with:

• DRIVING ON DUI SUSPENDED LICENSE-1ST OFFENSE.

Jeremy James Jarvis, 31, of Inez,Kentucky was arrested on December 2,2019,at 11:59 P.M.,by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• REAR LICENSE NOT ILLUMINATED,

• NO REGISTRATION PLATES,

• NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT,

• FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD,

• DRIVING ON DUI SUSPENDED LICENSE -1ST OFFENSE

 

Joy Ann Armes, 47, of Charleston, West Virginia; was arrested on December 4, 2019, at 3:28 A.M., by the Martin County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),

• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (> OR = 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE),

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/ POSSESS.

Gary Endicott, 22, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on December 4, 2019, at 7:31 A.M., by the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE),

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3RD DEGREE.

Patricia Ann King-Swanson, 43, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested in Scott County, Ky., on December 4, 2019, at 11:48 A.M., by an officer of the Georgetown Police Department, and was charged with:

• FAILURE TO APPEAR, CITATION FOR MISDEMEANOR, for a Martin County court bench warrant.

Michael D. Mills, 21, of Inez, Kentucky was arrested on December 4, 2019, at 9:23 P.M., by the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

Stephanie A. Hobbs, 47, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on December 4, 2019, at 9:37 P.M., by the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA,

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS,

• POSSESSION OF FIREARM BY CONVICTED FELON.

 

Michael Wayne Farley, 41, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on December 5, 2019, at 6:33 P.M., by deputy William Tyler Lafferty, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• VIOLATION OF A KENTUCKY EPO/DVO.

Gladys S. Maynard, 43, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on December 5, 2019, at 6:38 P.M., by deputy William Tyler Lafferty, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• VIOLATION OF A KENTUCKY EPO/DVO.

Robert H. Drenning, 43, of Lovely, Kentucky was arrested on December 5, 2019, at 11:19 P.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

Gloria J. Fitch, 50, of Tomahawk, Kentucky was arrested in Johnson County, on December 6, 2019, at 2:28 P.M., by an officer of the Paintsville Police Department, and was charged with:

• THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION ALL OTHERS $500 OR MORE BUT UNDER/$10,000.

 

Kendra Fitch, 26, of Tomahawk, Kentucky was arrested in Johnson County, on December 6, 2019, at 2:29 P.M., by an officer of the Paintsville Police Department, and was charged with:

• THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION ALL OTHERS $500 OR MORE BUT UNDER/$10,000.

Toni G. Kerr-Jones, 50, of Lexington, Kentucky; formerly of Debord, Ky.,was arrested in Fayette County, Ky., on December 6, 2019, at 5:27 P.M., by officer Jefferey Horn, of the Lexington Police Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING FOUR BENCH WARRANTS FOR COURT; for outstanding court bench warrants from Martin County and Johnson County.

George Harless, 50, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on December 6, 2019, at 7:50 P.M., by trooper Dustin Thompson, of the Kentucky State Police-Post 9-Pikeville, Ky., and was charged with:

• RAPE, 1ST DEGREE – VICTIM <12 YEARS OF AGE,

• SODOMY, 1ST DEGREE – VICTIM <12 YRS OF AGE.

Ricky Shane Pauley, 27, of Pilgrim, Kentucky was arrested in Johnson County, on December 6, 2019, at 9:40 P.M., by an officer of the Paintsville Police Department, and was charged with:

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE,

• POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA,

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS,

• FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS.
