Lawrence County Grand Jury Indictments include drugs, theft, and endangering minor

Lawrence County Grand Jury Indictments

November 26, 2019

Nine  people indicted by Lawrence County Grand Jury last week on a variety of different charges:

Commonwealth of Kentucky vs. Carl Daniels Jr.

The Grand Jury charges that on or about October 9th, 2019 in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above named defendant:

1. Burglary in the 3rd degree, complicity

2. Use/possession of drug paraphernalia, 1st offense, complicity

3. Operating on a suspended or revoked license

4. Failure of non owner to maintain required insurance

Commonwealth of Kentucky vs. Carl Daniels Sr.

The Grand Jury charges that on or about October9th, 2019 in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above named defendant:

1. Burglary in the 3rd degree, complicity

2. Use/possession of drug paraphernalia, 1st offense, complicity

Commonwealth of Kentucky vs. John Cornett

The Grand Jury charges that on or before September 15th, 2019 in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above named defendant:

1. Trafficking in a controlled substance in the 1st degree, complicity

2. Possession drug paraphernalia, complicity

3. Persistent felony offender in the 1st degree

The Grand Jury charges that on or before September 15th, 2019 in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above named defendant:

1. Trafficking in a controlled substance in the 1st degree, complicity

2. Possession drug paraphernalia, complicity

3. Operating on a suspended or revoked license

The Grand Jury charges that on or before September 15th, 2019 in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above named defendant:

1. Trafficking in a controlled substance in the 1st degree, complicity

2. Possession drug paraphernalia, complicity

Commonwealth of Kentucky vs. Cody Frazier

The Grand Jury charges that on or about October 31st,, 2019 in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above named defendant:

1. Theft by unlawful taking under/$10,000

Commonwealth of Kentucky vs. Amanda Thomas

The Grand Jury charges that on or before  October 11, 2019 in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above named defendant:

1. Trafficking in a controlled substance in the 1st degree, 2nd offense

Commonwealth of Kentucky vs. Amanda Thomas

The Grand Jury charges that on or before  October 11, 2019 in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above named defendant:

1. Wanton endangerment in the 1st degree

2. Resisting arrest

3. Persistent felony offender in the 2nd degree

Commonwealth of Kentucky vs. Bobbi Hayes

The Grand Jury charges that on or before  August 7th , 2019 in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above named defendant:

1. Trafficking in a controlled substance in the 1st degree

2. Speeding 10 mph over the limit

3. Disregarding stop sign

4. No/expired registration plates

The Grand Jury charges that on or before  August 2nd , 2019 in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above named defendant:

1. Possession of controlled substance in the 1st degree

2. Possession drug paraphernalia

Commonwealth of Kentucky vs. Lacy Crothers

The Grand Jury charges that on or before  October 8th, , 2019 in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above named defendant:

1. Possession of controlled substance in the 1st degree (Methamphetamine)

2. Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, 1st offense within 5 years

3. Endangering the welfare of a minor (2 counts)
