A Debriefing

John Butch Preston

johnhprestonauthor.com

My name is Ned. An apostasy—the abandoning of a religious faith or doctrine—must now be brought about to bring the Trump era to a close. Millions of people, already upset, angry, and blindly defensive, will be affected. Seeing the truth and giving up their faith in Trump will not be an easy process for these people, but it can be achieved with gradual encouragement from those of us who were able to see through him from the very beginning. I am particularly concerned with the struggle to withdraw from him by my own friends and relatives.

It is much like trying to interpret a dream. There is the dream itself and there are the daily thoughts behind the dream, which caused the dream.  The dream, in this case, is the relinquishing of your mind to Trump, or psychic infection if you will, and the thoughts behind this devotion tell you how it came about. Once these thoughts are closely examined these people can see how they first became infected with Trump.

I call it Unconscious Sympathy, a process by which at some point during one’s first favorable impression of him, mostly because of his populous slang-talk, one develops an unconscious pity for him for any criticism leveled against him. This leads to identification with him, in fact a total imitation of him. Now if a factory worker, for instance, has given over her identity to Trump, she too feels that, just like Trump, she is qualified to become president. It’s a wonderful feeling but it is an illusion.

What Trump fans need to see to help them get over him is to place him beside other important world figures and see how he fares. But why not go ahead and pit him against the supreme being of all time, Jesus Christ. This can be accomplished by the examples below, by using a business analogy:

  1. Suppose an already wealthy person gets elected to the CEO position in a large corporation consisting of vast subsidiaries and employing almost an entire population. And to show her good sportsmanship for being rich, she declines to take a salary. But then suppose she soon begins taking luxury holidays, flying down to her private resort at the company’s expense, any one of which alone far exceeds the salary she declined. Many would say this is not a big deal.  Jesus has said, ye shall know them by their fruits.
  2. Now suppose she has several businesses on the side for which she uses company funds to enhance their bottom lines. Is this fair to the company and its employees?  Jesus has said, ye shall know them by their fruits.
  3. A certain group of people has legally applied for jobs with the company, but she has expressed contempt for these people, so she refuses to accept their applications and begins making derogatory remarks about them, calling them murderers and rapist, implying all in this group are of that caliber. Jesus has said, ye shall know them by their fruits.
  4. A further example of the above is when members of the company criticize her for making unwise decisions and she summarily fires them. And since she cannot come up with an excuse for these firings she once again resorts to vile name-calling and false accusations. In formal logic this is called ad hominym, the desperate recourse of someone who has no defense for her actions, a common schoolyard practice. Jesus has said ye shall know them by their fruits.
  5. The company began to boom several years before she took over, and having a new CEO added somewhat to this growth but she has taken credit for the company’s entire recovery. She boasts and boasts that she has made the company great again, but factual statistics show this is not the case. Her idea of greatness is obviously self-aggrandizement. Jesus has said, ye shall know them by their fruits.
  6. And speaking of jobs, one of the company’s lowest-paid workers couldn’t get her two-year old into daycare so she had to bring the baby to work with her that day. This got back to the CEO and she had the baby taken away from her mother’s arms and put in a cage. The experience will cause the child psychological damage for the rest of its life. But the CEO says she’ll think twice about bringing her kid to work next time. Jesus wept. Then said, ye shall know them by their fruits.
  7. She on several occasions has indicated that the white workers in the company are better than the black or brown workers. Since this was not God’s intention, Jesus has said, ye shall know them by their fruits.
  8. Health care is of major concern to all the company workers, so in her interview for the position the CEO promised affordable health care for all. But once secure in her position she tried to cut back on health care instead. Not only would Jesus (the greatest healer) not agree, he would be appalled that in today’s world hospitals are being traded on the world stock exchanges.
  9. In opposition to the fact that climate change is taking place, the CEO called it a Chinese hoax, and when that didn’t fly she blamed it on the ice age finally warming up. When she found out that a group of scientist working for the company believed climate change was real, rather than fire them all and causing a big stink, she used a tactic that forced them to resign, therefore leaving the company without highly beneficial information necessary to the company’s well being. Jesus has said, ye shall know them by their fruits.
  10. As soon as the CEO obtained her position, she began speaking favorably of the CEO of a rival company, in fact, making decisions that have given the rival several advantages, to the extent of putting her security workers in harms way, and in some instances causing the deaths of anyone allied with them. Why she aligns herself with the company’s chief rival remains a mystery— but speculation indicates he has leveraged her in some way so that she is forced to do his bidding, to the detriment of the company.  Jesus has said, the truth shall set ye free.

Anyone reading this can see that Trump falls way short of the teachings of Christ. How do Christians reconcile this, especially my friends and relatives who profess Christianity? Are they guilty of compartmentalizing—putting Christ in one mental box and Trump in another, and never letting the two come in contact with each other. Such seems to be the case, otherwise how can they go to church on Sunday, and then to a Trump rally on Sunday night in good conscience? Henceforth, I suggest each time Trump pulls a fast one and lies about it, they should ask themselves what would Jesus do. Then perhaps it wouldn’t be so hard for them to come on over to freedom and peace of mind and get out from beneath Trump’s privileged thumb. After all, he is yet to deliver them on the issue of abortion that they have been praying for since 1973.

Why would anyone try to compare President Trump, or any human, to Jesus Christ?!? True, to be a Christian is to be Christ-like, but we should never try to pit anyone against Him. This idiot’s writings are nonsensical and ramble so much, it is difficult to read. I cannot understand why the administrators of this website allow him to continue to post his trash on here. Do they not realize how it is turning so many against the Lazer?

Trump is far better than crooked Hillary or any liberal for that matter. None of the liberal idiots can beat him that are running now. The super biased media has done nothing but run a negative campaign to try and beat him up every hour on the hour. It’s the economy dumbass. Trump will not be impeached over stupid crap and he will win by a landslide in 2020. Mark my words. The words of a hippy never Trumper don’t mean nothing, it’s just all he has to write about, and if his words were on paper, I’d wipe my butt with them, because that’s all it’s good for.

I hate to break this to you but it’s just about the same economy that he inherited from Obama
and I believe this if Nixon had Fox news and social media he would have never left office

      • Chris says:

Omg, Nixon broke the law. Trump didn’t. The economy doing great is because President Trump, not Obama, stock market breaking records didn’t happen with 8 years of Obama. Get real, BAG. Who do the libtards have that can beat Trump in 2020, No One…You’re a never Trumper so what you or this hippy says don’t mean crap.

Donald’s job numbers are NO better than Obama’s
          Donald’s first 33 month’s 6.294 millon jobs added
          Obama’s last 33 month’s 6.839 millon jobs added
          https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/ces0000000001?output_view=net_1mth
          the stock market under Obama
          Dow march 2009 6,469 january 2017 19,804 a gain of 13,335 points or 113% return
while under Trump it’s at 27,347 a gain of 7,543 or 50% return
the biggest reason of a tight labor market is the baby boomers 10,000 a day are retiring a day
let’s NOT forget after 8 years of the last republican president how big of a mess he left

          Trump’s unemployment rate feb 2017 4.7%
          oct 2019 3.6%
          a gain of 1.1%
Obama unemployment rate feb 2009 8.1% rose to 10% in oct 2009
          jan 2017 4.8%
          a gain of 5.2%
          these are FACTS
the only question any one needs to ask there selves do you want to make it normal for any president to with hold any aid to any foreign country to investigate your political opponent just want to remind you the other will be in charge later on
and by the way you don’t have to commit a crime to be impeached

lol And you have the audacity to tell another that someone is “living rent free”…how rich. You, like the author, are typical liberals suffering from TDS. I would say that you are actually john pulling a ‘mitt romney’; however, your lack of basic grammar skills says otherwise. You’re welcome.

          • Jeremy says:

The president is over foreign policy and foreign aid (not career deepstaters). As president he can withhold aid for any reason at all or no reason. Those in the state department serve at the discretion of the President. They should follow his foreign policy or resign. Its the power of the presidency. In watching those hearings it seemed they cared more about Ulkraine then the USA. In saying that Joe Biden told Ulkraine to fire a prosecutor, who was looking into a corrupt company who may have illegally taken millions of US tax payer dollars. who’s son sits on the board where he has no experience in that industry. Joe Biden is on camera bragging about it. “You got 6hrs to fire the prosecutor or you dont get the billions in aid”. Qid pro quo. If what Trump did was wrong how can anyone say that what Joe did was not at least as bad or worse. The question everyone should be asking is why the previous and current administrations are sending our money to corrupt countries at all? Those billions would do wonders on fixing our roads here at home.

    Jeremy
you have your right to your opinion
but I don’t believe a president should with hold aid for his own political gain
just remember the other party will be back in charge later on

    • Jeremy says:

They got the aid, they got their meeting, and the Ulkraine leaders have said there was no pressure to do the investigations. In saying that if it’s ok for Joe Biden to do what he did then it must be ok for President Trump to do what he did. What I am saying is you cant have it both ways where it’s ok for one not the other. Either both instances are ok or both are wrong. The difference being Biden got what he wanted. Also some 2016 election meddling came out of Ulkraine. 2 men Ulkraine has charged and found guilty. Or is it only meddling that may benefit Trump that is important? When it benefitted Hillary it was ok. Was it ok for the Steel dossier? Which got UK, Italy, Australia, Ulkraine, and Russia involved in our election? Trump don’t need Ulkraine to beat the Democrats in 2020 they are terrible enough on their own. Both parties has long since forgot what the US constitution is and what they promised to uphold. Both politically parties are corrupt and power hungry. They will do anything to keep that power or self enrich themselves.

      • KAG says:

let’s NOT forget they got the aid after they got caught
you see the whistleblower filed the complaint on august 12th his or her boss investigated the complaint and found it urgent so he gives it to the inspector general of the intelligence who gave it to the head of all the intelligences agency’s who is supposed to give it congress well at least that’s what the law say’s instead he gives it to the white house and the justice lawyers(which this means Trump knows about the complaint ahead of the investigation)
        https://www.factcheck.org/2019/09/the-whistleblower-complaint-timeline/
and do honestly believe the leader of Ukraine would say Trump pressure him come on you know he has to back Trump up or he would for sure get NO aid
like I said you have your opinion and NO you can’t compare what Biden done and what Trump did not even in the same ballpark if he was so concerned about the Biden’s then why didn’t he go through the justice department Barr has been running all around the world investigating what started the Russia investigation
just remember this if a democrat would have done this would you be ok with it I would not

        • Jeremy says:

I don’t know what he knew when but I won’t argue that accordingly to Sondland President Trump stated he “wanted nothing, no quid pro quo, just for Selensky to do the right thing” which took place on the same day of the complaint became known. I do think the Biden incident is similar in this way. Both men “seem” to be getting involved in another countries political/legal system for self gain. I am glad to see you agree with me that asking foreign countries to get involved in our elections is not the right thing to do. So when the DNC and Hillary Clinton (who controlled the DNC) paid Perkins Quey to dig up dirt on Candidate Trump by hiring UK spy Christopher Steele to get this dirt from Ukraine, Russia, Australia, and Italy was wrong as well. Which lead to 2.5yrs and millions of tax payer dollars wasted on uncollaborated foreign rumors which the DNC/Hillary/Perkins/Steele peddled to the CIA, FBI, and State Department as FACT. Which then lead to illegal FISA warrants perpetuated on a candidate for Presidents Campaign and a President Elect. Lets not try to have it both ways. The Democrats can Impeach him in the house along party lines. The senate will not Impeach him and again the country will have been dragged through another pointless political mess. Which this time will have cheapen the Impeachment process and the next time a Democrat is in charge will give the Republicans an excuse to Impeach that will send us even further down the tube. John Adams was correct when he said ” Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.”

“Sondland President Trump stated he “wanted nothing, no quid pro quo, just for Selensky to do the right thing” which took place on the same day of the complaint became known”
the aid was released 2 hours after congress opened the investigation the white house knew about the complain middle of august
whether Biden did nothing wrong Trump didn’t care all he wanted was for Ukraine to announce they was going to open a investigation about his political opponent
and the damage has worked look at his #’s
it’s the same playbook they went after Hillary

KAG claims the good economy is because of Obama’s policies. Never Trumpers can’t and won’t give credit to Trump for anything. By that sort of thinking Obama’s predecessor is to blame for Obama’s successes, so on and so forth. Here let’s get real, the libtards have no one who can or will beat Trump in 2020, They’re all a bunch of wannabe Presidents. Trump 2020 by a fkn landslide. Impeachment isn’t gonna happen, it’s all political games to them. Just a complete joke is what the dems have become. Crooked, slimy democrats hopefully will fade away.

all I am saying after Obama got us out of the mess the last 2 term republican left his economy numbers are as good as Trumps the longest expansion in our history of the economy 10 years
